ANASTASIA KURKOVA

Born in Moscow, Russia, Anastasia graduated at the Moscow Academy of Dance. N. Nesterova. She is a laureate of the Moscow International Ballet Competition (3rd prize) and a diploma winner of the prestige international Ballet Competition Prix de Lausanne.

From 2002 - 2007 she was a dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet.

In 2007 Anastasia joined the Berlin State Ballet and danced there until 2023 as a Demi-Soloist. Since 2023 she is part of the BerlinBallet Company.

 

Anastasia Kurkova has danced on the world's most famous stages,
such as the Paris Grand Opera, Covent Garden in London, the
Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, the Bunka
Kaikan in Tokyo, and many others.

Anastasia's repertoire includes Soloist roles of the classical and modern repertoire. She has worked with famous world choreographers such as, Yuri Grigorovich, Alexei Ratmansky, Vladimir
Malakhov, John Neumeier, Pierre Lacotte, Nacho Duato, Patrice
Bart, Mats Eck and many others.
